Recognizing that everyone experiences “disability,” we intentionally create our programs to address disability inclusion and opportunity through the lens of “diverse abilities.” ROSIES uses the term “diverse abilities” to promote an open and positive approach to working with colleagues, including those with a disability.

We focus on ability – including the expertise, experience, insight, potential, and unique perspective that a person can contribute to the job they are being hired to do. To that end, our programs integrate a culture-shifting accessibility model that includes everyone.
